The student design that best addresses societal and/or environmental difficulties and/or concerns, in addition to achieving the four fundamental ET Foundation Design Competition requirements, will receive the Sustainable Design Challenge Award. Create a product with at least one extruded aluminum profile in it to be eligible (custom designs are preferred, however product designs that incorporate standard shapes will also be considered). Entries can be sent through email or regular mail. The applicant must include all of the entry materials that they are providing in the email's body (for instance, "I have attached a total of 3 files: entry form, design presentation file in PDF, link to video file showing product prototype in use"). The winner will receive $5,000. Awarded prizes are $4,000 for second place, $3,000 for third, and $3,500 for the sustainable design.ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
