Biological and Biomedical Sciences

The subject of biomedical science is mainly concerned with clinical applications related to human health. Biology courses provide students with the information they need to make well-informed decisions about their health and significant biological concerns, including using genetically modified crops, the abuse of antibiotics, and eradicating invasive species. Biologists study many things, such as how species change through time and how organisms adjust to new conditions. Biomedical study is primarily concerned with the confluence of medical science and biology. Bioengineers put their scientific knowledge to use by developing state-of-the-art medical tools. The biomedical and biological sciences are a good fit for students thinking about careers in medicine, healthcare, or biomedical research. This course has a heavy emphasis on biology education.
