Management science and quantitative methods courses teach students how to apply tools from fields like statistics, computer science, and mathematics to the study of organizational and operational issues in business. The curriculum examines corporate structure and performance issues via statistical modeling, data warehousing, mining, programming, forecasting, and operations research. Training in stochastic and dynamic modeling, operations analysis, prototype system design and testing, data mining, data warehousing, and stochastic and dynamic modeling. Knowledge, abilities, and experience in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, as applied to management in business, government, and non-profit organizations, are developed through the Management Science and Quantitative Methods (STEM) area of interest.
