A degree in educational administration will prepare you to think and act on a larger scale than just the classroom or the school. Most of these degrees concentrate on how to run a school. It will teach you the ins and outs of school administration, including how to manage the protocols and procedures that make for a smooth school day. You will gain knowledge of management practices such as staff selection, evaluation, and progress tracking. Finance fundamentals, stakeholder engagement, data literacy, and, in some cases, classroom enhancement, are common areas of study in such programs. An educational administration program will teach you everything you need to know to run a successful school. Studying for a leadership role in education can help you adjust your perspective from that of a single school or building to that of the larger world.
