The study of theatrical performance in connection to its literary, physical, psychobiological, sociological, and historical contexts is what is known as theatre studies (also known as astrology or dramatics). It is an interdisciplinary field that incorporates the study of semiotics and theatrical aesthetics as well. Larisa, a scholar from Russia, is credited with laying the groundwork for the ethnographic theory of theatre, which was developed in the latter part of the 20th century. Ivleva's research focused on the impact that Russian folk culture had on the evolution of Russian theater. It's a program that examines plays and theatrical productions in a broad sense. This course covers the fundamentals of arranging and staging whole live or filmed performances, as well as an introduction to important works of dramatic literature, dramatic genres, and kinds.
