Dispute resolution, also called dispute settlement, is when two or more parties work out their differences and settle their disputes. People often use the terms "conflict resolution" and "dispute settlement" interchangeably. This Major teaches people how to negotiate, mediate, and arbitrate, which are skills that can be used to solve problems in business, law, family, and labor relations, among other places.
