Orr Group, Inc. is a group of dedicated fundraisers that works hand in hand with our partner organizations in the areas of development, strategy, event planning, and board management. We are looking for a full-time or part-time Strategy Intern to assist our Strategy Practice Area in their day-to-day work.

What We Offer:
You'll be a member of the Strategy Practice Area Team and help to gather and analyze data to build and grow strategy services. In this role, you will help conduct an analysis of our past and current Strategy work to inform our internal framework and approach to helping non-profits build and execute long-term strategic plans. This work will include gathering market information to inform our methodology as well as reviewing historic trends and performance to aid in future optimization of approaches to client engagement.
You will also have the opportunity to work on a capstone project on a topic of your choice related to the non-profit sector. At the end of the semester, you can present your research to the entire office!
Responsibilities:
There is no typical day at Orr Group, but if there were, here are some of the tasks you might be doing:
Join weekly Strategy Practice Area team meetings participate in decision making and aid in project management
Partner with the BD team to collect and organize data on past Strategy proposals and contracts for analysis
Support the Practice Area in data collection and analysis
Supporting Practice Area leads in managing and tracking data in donor databases/CRM platforms
Preparing materials as they relate to the building of the Strategy Practice Area (meeting agendas, data analysis, etc.)
Assisting with special projects as assigned
Other administrative and physical duties as assigned
Job Specifications:
Start Date: January 2023
Paid Internship: $15.00/hour
Experience:
To land this gig, you need to have experience helping others solve problems. It doesn't need to be traditional customer service experience—internships, volunteer work, and side projects count! Must have a bachelor's degree or be enrolled in a bachelor's degree program.
