ABOUT SECONDARY SCHOOL TEACHERS, EXCEPT SPECIAL AND CAREER/TECHNICAL EDUCATIO CAREERS

Secondary school instructors play a critical role in our nation's 14 to 17-year-old children's ongoing educational, physical, and social development. Secondary school teachers guarantee that their students delve deeper into their studies as they near the end of their childhood education in order to understand more about the world they live in and themselves in the process.

Preparing lesson plans, leading conversations, and directing extracurricular activities are all common responsibilities. Secondary school teachers are increasingly substituting computer-based education for rote drills. A teacher, for example, may employ multimedia technology to assist students in learning a foreign language. As a result, those interested in this field should be open to innovative learning and teaching methodologies.

This is a rewarding and hard vocation. It takes a lot of patience and imagination to engage a room full of active, often distracted youngsters. However, seeing young individuals learn and grow and knowing that you were a part of that process can be a very gratifying motivation for selecting this profession.
