Applicants must provide evidence of their enrolment to a recognized university along with a 1000 words essay outlining their passion for their preferred STEM field and the contribution they hope to make in their work. 

The AWG Geoscience IDEA Award

The scholarship amounts to $5000 which can be given to several graduate applicants. The funds are awarded to women from disadvantaged communities pursuing geosciences or earth sciences careers. Along with the financial award, recipients are paired up with a mentor in the field and given a one-year sponsorship to the AWG student membership. Graduates are expected to submit a personal statement, two letters of recommendation, transcripts, test results, and their application.

The BHW Scholarship for Women in STEM

The BHW Group provides financial aid to female students seeking degrees in STEM for up to $ 3 000. Candidates could be undergraduates, graduates, or incoming college students. Applicants must submit an article about their favorite apps and their impacts of between 500 to 800 words along with their application.

Helen Lansdowne Resor Scholarship

This scholarship bears Helen Lansdowne Resor's name. She was the first female copywriter in the field and a role model and guide to many other creative women. It consists of up to $10,000 from the J. Walter Thompson company. The opportunity also includes a paid summer internship with the brand, consideration for employment following graduation, and mentorship possibilities for the recipients. Finally, there is the Generation Google Scholarships for Women, which offers $10,000 to undergraduate and graduate students studying computer science.
